The principals are seeking a flexible, reliable, and dedicated housekeeper cook who is looking for a long-term position and takes pride in maintaining a warm, comfortable, and well-organised household. Although the lady of the house has previously been diagnosed with cancer, she remains fully self-sufficient. The family is looking for a dependable professional who can provide consistent household support and contribute to the smooth running of their home.

Working as a housekeeper cook in a private residence requires excellent organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to maintain high housekeeping standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of the property, laundry and ironing, and preparing simple, nutritious meals for the principals. This position would suit a professional who enjoys creating a comfortable home environment and who values longevity in their employment. As the property is located in a countryside setting, a driving licence would be advantageous for convenient travel to and from the area.

Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper Cook:

Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the four-bedroom residence to a high standard.
Performing daily housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Managing household laundry, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organisation.
Changing bed linen and maintaining guest and family bedrooms.
Preparing simple, healthy meals for the principals.
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and hygienic at all times.
Monitoring and replenishing household supplies when required.
Ensuring the home remains tidy, comfortable, and welcoming.
Reporting any maintenance concerns to the principals.
Assisting with additional household tasks as reasonably required.
Demonstrating flexibility, reliability, and professionalism in a long-term private household environment.
