PERMANENT FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER NANNY

A warm and welcoming family based in Barnet, one of North London's most desirable residential areas, is seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeper Nanny to join their household on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated domestic professional who takes pride in maintaining an exceptionally well-presented home whilst providing occasional childcare support within a respectful family environment.
The household consists of two parents, their toddler and a friendly Brussels Griffon. The family is looking for a trustworthy, organised and proactive Housekeeper Nanny who enjoys creating a calm, clean and well-organised home. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is seeking stability and would like to become a trusted and valued member of the household.
Housekeeping will form the primary focus of the role and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the home is maintained to the highest standard. Duties will include all aspects of housekeeping, laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, household organisation and monitoring household supplies. The role will also involve occasional meal preparation, primarily preparing simple family dinners, together with supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household.
In addition to the housekeeping responsibilities, the successful candidate will provide occasional childcare support when required. The parents are actively involved in family life and are looking for someone who is happy to work collaboratively whilst confidently assisting with childcare as needed. The ideal candidate will be warm, discreet, reliable and flexible, with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting busy family households.

Main duties of the Housekeeper/Nanny:
- Complete all housekeeping duties to a high standard throughout the property.
- Clean, tidy and organise the home.
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management.
- Change and refresh bed linen.
- Maintain excellent household organisation.
- Monitor household supplies and replenish essentials as required.
- Prepare occasional family meals, primarily simple evening dinners.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the household.
- Provide occasional childcare support when required.
- Assist with school pick-ups when needed.
- Work collaboratively with the parents.
- Be comfortable working in a household with a friendly dog.
Requirements for this Housekeeper/Nanny job:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Housekeeper Nanny within a private household.
- Good spoken English essential.
- Warm, organised, proactive and reliable.
- Confident supporting both housekeeping and occasional childcare.
- Happy to prepare simple family meals when required.
- Pet-friendly and comfortable working in a household with a friendly dog.
- Looking for a long-term role within a respectful family.
- At least two excellent, checkable references.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
