Perfect Household Staff is pleased to present a new opportunity for an experienced and caring Nanny / Housekeeper to join a welcoming family based in Bristol. The household consists of two young children aged 5 and 2 and a gentle cavapoo dog. The family live in a comfortable three-bedroom terraced home, offering a supportive and friendly environment.

This part-time role is ideally suited to a reliable and proactive professional who enjoys combining childcare with light household duties.

The role of a Nanny / Housekeeper in this household centres on providing attentive after-school care and ensuring a well-kept home environment. Key responsibilities will include collecting the children from school, preparing healthy snacks, supporting with light household organisation, and maintaining a tidy, welcoming home. The position also includes occasional pet care, such as short walks for the family’s cavapoo and tidying the garden toys and furniture.

The priority will always be childcare, ensuring the children are safe, happy, and well supervised after school.

Job Details:

Type: Permanent, Part-time, Live-out, Self-employed

Working Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; 4 days/week

Working Hours: 1.00pm – 5.00pm (16 hours per week)

Language: English

Salary: £23 – £25 gross per hour (self-employed)

Children: Yes, 5 y.o and 2 y.o

Pets: 1 dog, cockapoo

Driving: Yes, competent driver (manual car can be provided)

Location: Kingswood, Bristol, GB

Starting Date: ASAP

Duties will include:

General housekeeping (vacuuming, ironing, tidying).
School pick-up (children collected at 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM).
Supervising and engaging with the children until parents return.
Light gardening and maintaining outdoor areas (tidying, putting away toys/furniture).
Dog walking once or twice a week.
Tidying children’s rooms and assisting with additional cleaning or organising.
Final household tasks at the end of the week to prepare the home for the weekend.

Minimal Requirements:

3+ years of private Nanny / Housekeeper experience
Two excellent, checkable references
English speaking
DBS Check
UK working permit
Driving licence; own car preferred (manual car available if necessary)
