Job Overview:
Our agency has an exciting opportunity for a Russian-speaking Housekeeper to join a fully staffed household in Chelsea, London. The household consists of three permanent residents; however, the parents travel frequently. The family employ a nanny, a private chauffeur, and a private chef, and they are now seeking two experienced housekeepers to work on a rota basis, ensuring seamless cover at all times. The incoming housekeeper will therefore be working closely as part of a team with another housekeeper.
Chelsea is one of London’s most desirable and vibrant areas, renowned for its elegant streets, cultural attractions, and excellent transport links. The position offers a structured rota system (four days on, four days off) and a professional working environment within a supportive domestic team.
The successful housekeeper will be responsible for the full spectrum of housekeeping duties, ensuring the home is maintained to an immaculate standard. The role includes daily cleaning, dusting, hoovering, laundry, and ironing. Additionally, the housekeeper will be expected to liaise with and supervise contractors for any maintenance work.
Due to the presence of two corgis in the household, applicants must be comfortable working around dogs.
The employer is offering formal employment with standard holiday entitlement. Candidates must be discreet, highly organised, and able to follow household preferences precisely — including refraining from the use of perfume within the property.

Main duties of the Russian-speaking Housekeeper:
- General cleaning, dusting, and hoovering
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
- Maintaining the property to a high standard of cleanliness and order
- Supervising and liaising with contractors for maintenance and repairs
- Ensuring household preferences are followed (including no perfume policy)
- Working in harmony with the second housekeeper to provide consistent cover and support
- Assisting in maintaining a harmonious household alongside other staff
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Minimum of 5 years of private housekeeping experience in VIP families
- Two excellent checkable references
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Fluent Russian
