Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a professional, detail-oriented, and discreet Housekeeper to join a prestigious fully staffed private household located in Mayfair, London. The household comprises four adult principals and is run to exceptionally high standards, requiring a calm, organised, and polished individual with excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of presentation.
The family maintains a refined and welcoming environment and frequently entertains, therefore seeking a Housekeeper who can seamlessly integrate into a professional team. The successful candidate will be working alongside another Housekeeper, a dedicated Laundress, and a House Manager who also supports with hands-on duties, making this an excellent opportunity for a team-oriented professional accustomed to high-end private households.
This is a permanent, live-in position based in central London, offering accommodation in the form of a private bedroom with a shared bathroom within a fully staffed household. The role requires flexibility, as the family travels frequently; when the principals are in residence, the Housekeeper will work a full schedule across six days per week, while quieter periods when the family is abroad involve lighter morning duties while remaining fully paid.
The position may also involve occasional travel to European properties for periods of up to three weeks.

Duties include detailed cleaning of all surfaces, including delicate materials such as marble, silver, glass, and fine wood, wardrobe care for designer items, assistance with laundry and ironing, and preparation of guest areas.
The role also includes supporting meal preparation and formal table setting, assisting during entertaining, and coordinating closely with the House Manager, Laundress, and other Housekeeper to ensure all duties are completed efficiently and to the highest standard within a well-structured team environment.

Main duties of the Live-In Housekeeper:
- Maintaining high standards of cleaning throughout the property including specialist care of marble, silver, glass, and wooden surfaces
- Managing wardrobe care including organisation, packing and unpacking, and minor mending of designer garments
- Assisting the laundress with laundry and ironing duties
- Changing bed linen and managing towel and linen rotation
- Organising and maintaining kitchen pantry and storage areas
- Assisting with meal preparation and formal table setting
- Serving principals and guests during periods of entertaining
- Preparing guest bedrooms to a high standard
- Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies and household items
- Reporting maintenance issues and coordinating with contractors where required
- Caring for indoor plants
- Maintaining organisation across all storage spaces
- Working collaboratively within a fully staffed household to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements for this Live-In Housekeeper:
- Minimum of 3 years of private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Conversational level of English and Native Tagalog
- Legal right to work in the UK
- DBS Check
