FULL TIME TRAVELLING NANNY JOB

SALARY: 71 000 GBP GROSS/YEAR PLUS
Our new clients, a lovely family, are seeking a professional full-time traveling nanny for a one-year contract (with the possibility of extending the contract after its expiration) to care for their 6-month-old son. The family resides in the UK for approximately 2 months a year, in Italy for about 6 months, and spends around 4 months traveling. The nanny will mainly stay in Italy with the baby and will travel with the family for around 2 months a year. Therefore, the role of the Full Time Traveling Nanny will require a basic knowledge of English and experience in proxy parenting.

As the position involves travelling, visa support will be provided by the family if necessary.
The nanny will be offered a separate ensuite bedroom in the family's properties and separate hotel rooms during travelling.
The family is seeking an experienced, communicative, smart, initiative-taking, positive-thinking, open-minded, kind, and friendly nanny who can maintain professionalism while being a friend to the child.
During the one-year contract, the nanny will be expected to be on duty 24 hours a day, five days a week, with two days off per week and approximately four free hours during the day, as the parents spend a lot of quality time with the baby. Occasional proxy parenting will be required, ranging from 2 days to 2 weeks, with refundable days off. After 5.5 months, the full-time traveling nanny will be given a month off, with the possibility of splitting it.
The ideal candidate is expected to have a basic medical degree (not a deal-breaker), be highly experienced with babies (having worked with at least three babies from 6 months old in different families), be flexible, positive, genuinely happy by nature, and understand the concept of 'personal boundaries.' Additionally, the candidate should be pet-friendly, as the family plans to have a Cocker Spaniel next year.

Main duties of the full-time travelling nanny:
- Looking after the baby (feeding, changing, dressing, bathing etc)
- Following the child’s daily routine.
- Keeping the children's supplies maintained.
- Tidying the child's area.
- Sterilising bottles and toys
- Playing with the infant, making sure the child is stimulated.
- Preparing meals.
- Proxy parenting.
- Toilet training.
- Preparing the child’s day (going for walks, baby groups etc)
- Transitioning to solid foods
Requirements for the full-time travelling nanny job:
- At least 7 years of relevant experience
- Excellent checkable references
- Enhanced DBS check
- Proficiency in Russian or English
- Basic medical degree as a great bonus
- Good knowledge of methods for transitioning to solid foods
