Perfect Household Staff is pleased to present a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated Domestic Couple to manage a modern, private residence in a peaceful setting in Loughborough, Leicestershire. The property includes four main bedrooms, two self-contained guest apartments, and is set within six acres of beautifully landscaped grounds featuring a swimming pool, gym, tennis court, kitchen entertainment area, and two woodland areas. The couple will be responsible for the full upkeep of the residence, particularly during the clients' travels, which begin in May-June 2025.

The Domestic Couple will have proven experience in housekeeping and property maintenance, within a private household setting, demonstrating their ability to manage the day-to-day operations of the residence with minimal supervision. The successful candidates will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with the family while maintaining the utmost discretion and confidentiality. An in-depth knowledge of cleaning products and methods, particularly for caring for delicate materials, is essential to ensure the residence is maintained to an exceptional standard.
In addition to general household duties, the couple must be comfortable caring for animals, particularly the family’s Giant Schnauzer, which requires ongoing care. They will also be confident drivers with valid driving licences, and though a personal vehicle is required, the client may provide a vehicle for household use. Flexibility and a proactive approach are key, as the couple will need to adapt to the household's changing needs and ensure a seamless operation in the clients' absence.
The couple will be provided with a newly renovated, self-contained two-bedroom apartment with its own entrance, along with a garage area and courtyard access. All reasonable utility bills will be covered by the employer. Pets may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Main duties of the Full-Time Domestic couple:
- Maintaining the landscaped grounds and gardens, ensuring they remain in immaculate condition.
- Operating and maintaining gardening machinery and tools safely and effectively.
- Conducting general property maintenance tasks both inside and outside the residence.
- Performing regular maintenance of the swimming pool to guarantee cleanliness and safety.
- Organising and coordinating trades and contractors as required.
- Ensuring annual security and fire safety checks are up to date.
- Managing household utilities and systems, such as heating and water.
- Driving and maintaining household vehicles, ensuring regular servicing and cleaning.
- Caring for the family’s Giant Schnauzer, including walking, veterinary appointments, grooming, and overall well-being.
- House sitting and pet sitting during periods when the family is away.
- Performing all cleaning responsibilities, including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and steaming of floors and surfaces.
- Handling laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and wardrobe management.
- Ensuring communal areas are consistently clean, tidy, and presentable.
- Conducting inventory checks for all bathrooms and replacing consumables as needed.
- Changing bed linens and maintaining high standards of bedroom hygiene.
- Managing and organising an inventory of housekeeping supplies.
- Running errands to support household needs as required.
- Undertaking deep cleaning tasks, including cleaning drapes, upholstery, and handling special materials such as fine linens, silk, or antiques with proper care.
- Cleaning internal windows and mirrors to maintain a pristine household environment.
- Establishing and following a cleaning schedule for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
- Shopping for household supplies and groceries when necessary.
- Occasionally preparing light family meals as requested.
