We are seeking a responsible and adaptable domestic couple who enjoy countryside living, possess a positive outlook on life, are self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and have a proactive hands-on approach. The couple must be capable of working independently, maintaining exceptional organisational skills, and seeking a long-term position.
This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including event organisation, housekeeping, gardening, decorating, and administrative tasks such as maintaining online bookings, handling refunds, and controlling budgeting. The ideal candidates will also be required to cook and manage the care of five guest cabins.
The successful candidates will possess exceptional communication skills, as they will be greeting guests, guiding them to their accommodations, and fostering warm relationships to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay. This position offers the option to reside on the Estate. The family is delighted to provide the successful candidate with accommodation on the premises, fully furnished and equipped with all necessary appliances.
This vacancy is open to couples and pets.
Main duties of the Full Time Domestic Couple:
- · Greeting and welcoming guests
- · Cooking breakfasts & snacks
- · Organising and cooking for the events
- · Gardening, decorating, and minor building work
- · Maintaining online bookings and handling refunds
- · Budget control and management
- · General cleaning of five cabins and surrounding areas
- · Handling laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing bed linens and towels
- · Maintaining the supply of cleaning materials
- · Vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising floors and surfaces
- · Ensuring a well-organised and clutter-free living space
- · Running errands as required
- · Reporting any shortages, damages, or security issues
- · Changing bed linens and towels
- · Washing and cleaning dishes
- · Designing and implementing itineraries for small groups
- · Facilitating executive/corporate getaways and intimate birthdays
Domestic Couple Jobs Requirements:
- 3 years of Domestic Couple experience
- Checkable references
- UK working permit
- Driving licence
