Future candidates will be responsible for seamlessly managing the day-to-day operations of the household, ensuring the highest standards of service across all areas, from housekeeping and gardening to child support and event coordination. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the property’s interior to impeccable standards, including deep cleaning, laundry, wardrobe organisation, polishing silverware, and ensuring all areas are beautifully presented for guests.
- Preparing a variety of meals, from family-friendly dishes to formal dining experiences, tailored to the family’s dietary needs and preferences, with occasional catering for events and dinner parties.
- Managing extensive gardens, including seasonal planting, lawn care, hedge trimming, maintaining water features, and ensuring outdoor spaces are pristine for family use and entertainment.
- Handling minor repairs, managing home automation systems, painting and touch-ups, overseeing contractors for major projects, and ensuring all utilities function without disruption.
- Coordinating logistics for family events, setting up venues, managing guest lists, serving meals or refreshments, and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
- Running a variety of errands, including sourcing rare or bespoke items, managing online orders and returns, and ensuring timely grocery shopping and supply stocking.
- Monitoring property access, maintaining awareness of surroundings, liaising with security providers, and ensuring the overall safety of the family and property.
- Providing care for family pets, including feeding, grooming, walking, and ensuring their overall wellbeing.
- Keeping household records, managing budgets for supplies and repairs, tracking expenses, and maintaining an organised household manual.
- Assisting with travel preparations, including packing and unpacking, maintaining vehicles or bicycles, and managing household moves or renovations as needed.
Minimal Requirements:
- Three or more years of private domestic couple experience.
- Strong skills in housekeeping, cooking, gardening, and general maintenance.
- Excellent, checkable references.
- Fluency in English.
- UK working permit.
