No pet care is required, but the housekeeper should be comfortable working in a home with two Bernese Mountain dogs.

This is a live-out, part-time position with a schedule of four hours per day, three days per week, preferably during the first half of the day. While the total weekly hours amount to 12, this may be reconsidered following discussions during the interview or after a trial period. The successful candidate must have a good command of English and demonstrate an approachable, likable, and easy-going personality. Driving experience is preferable, particularly to facilitate commuting to the property.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:

• General housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and maintaining the kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms
• Ensuring the property is well-presented and tidy at all times
• Being comfortable working in a home with two dogs, although no direct pet care is required
• Washing dishes and ensuring the kitchen remains clean and well-organised.
• Managing all aspects of laundry to an exceptional standard
• Dusting, hoovering, and tidying throughout the property to uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Light maintenance of unused areas, such as the spare bedroom and bathrooms
• Performing ironing to a meticulous standard, ensuring all items are perfectly pressed and presented
• Providing additional assistance as required by the family
• Demonstrating effective communication in English while maintaining a courteous, friendly, and approachable manner

 

Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:

• 3 years of housekeeper experience
• Checkable references
• UK working permit
• DBS
