This Cheshire housekeeper vacancy will involve physically demanding tasks and therefore physically fit applicants are particularly wanted. While the principals are in residence and especially during the Christmas holidays, the position will demand the highest level of service.
As a professional head housekeeper, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the household. These tasks include overseeing all aspects of property maintenance, gardening, handling administrative duties and domestic repairs and running errands. More traditional tasks such as cleaning and responding to personal requests of the principals while maintaining careful attention to detail are a must have in this role.

Main duties of the Full Time Live In Head Housekeeper:
- Cleaning and Tidying: Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting furniture, and wiping down surfaces. This also includes cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, such as scrubbing sinks, countertops, toilets, showers, and baths.
- Laundry and Ironing: Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes, linens, and other household fabrics. Organising clothing and ensuring proper care for delicate items.
- Changing Linens: Replacing bed linens, making beds, and changing towels regularly to maintain a fresh environment.
- Organisation: Keeping closets, cabinets, and storage areas tidy and organised. This may involve sorting and decluttering as needed.
- Restocking Supplies: Ensuring that household supplies like toiletries, cleaning products, and kitchen essentials are adequately stocked.
- Cooking and Meal Preparation: Preparing simple meals or assisting in meal preparation as required. Cleaning up after meals, including washing dishes and kitchen utensils.
- Grocery Shopping and Errands: Shopping for groceries and other household supplies, running errands, and collecting items as requested.
- Pet Care: Feeding, grooming, and walking pets, as well as cleaning up after them.
- Garden Maintenance: Basic gardening tasks such as watering plants, weeding, and maintaining the outdoor area.
- Assisting with Guests: Welcoming guests, ensuring their comfort, and providing assistance as needed during their visit.
Requirements for this Full Time Head Housekeeper Job:
- 3 years of relevant experience (private household)
