Working as a Housekeeper in a private house requires a dedicated, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation. Typical responsibilities will include cleaning and tidying the property, laundry and ironing, and liaising with maintenance people as required. While not essential, there may also be the option to assist with light cooking, if desired.
The principals own a friendly dog, although no pet care will be required.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- General cleaning of all rooms, ensuring the home is tidy, hygienic, and well-presented at all times.
- Laundry and ironing, including proper care of garments and household linen.
- Managing and overseeing visits from maintenance people and contractors.
- Light cooking, if agreed with the principal, to support household requirements.
- Maintaining a flexible and proactive approach to meet the household’s needs.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience.
- Two excellent checkable references.
- Conversational English.
- UK working permit.
