Perfect Household Staff is proud to present a superb opportunity for a professional part-time housekeeper to join a warm and welcoming household located in Dogmersfield, Hook, Hampshire. Situated between Fleet and Odiham, this picturesque village offers a peaceful rural lifestyle while benefiting from nearby transport connections, excellent schools, and access to beautiful countryside walks. This role is ideal for a reliable, proactive housekeeper who enjoys working in an informal yet structured family setting.
The principals, a couple with three school-aged children (aged 16, 14 and 12), reside in a large and well-maintained seven-bedroom property set across two floors. The family are seeking a dedicated housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of the home. The household is relaxed yet well organised, and the successful applicant will work independently to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and order are consistently maintained.
Due to the rural setting and the requirement for school runs, a full UK driving licence is essential. However, a car will be provided for all work-related travel, including school drop-offs, collections, and errands. Applicants must be confident drivers and willing to undertake short local journeys as part of the role.
This is a live-out, part-time position with excellent flexibility. The housekeeper will be required three days per week, with the freedom to select the days that best suit their personal schedule. The family are supportive and respectful of work–life balance and are happy to accommodate reasonable preferences in working patterns.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Full housekeeping of the home, including cleaning and maintenance of all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces
- Keeping the household clean and tidy at all times, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic environment for all family members
- Regularly organising cupboards, wardrobes, storage areas, and household items to ensure everything is well ordered and easy to locate
- Performing all laundry duties, including the washing, ironing, folding, and proper care of delicate garments and linens
- Deep cleaning of kitchen and bathroom areas on a scheduled basis
- Grocery shopping and running local errands as required by the family
- Accepting deliveries, managing inventories, and keeping household supplies well stocked
- Performing school runs for the children using the vehicle provided by the family
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
