Perfect Household Staff is proud to present a new opportunity for an experienced and discreet Housekeeper in Langton Green. This is a part-time, permanent, live-out position ideally suited for a self-managing and personable professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards in private homes.
Set in a stunning seven-bedroom modern home with beautifully designed open-plan spaces, multiple gym areas, and a swimming pool, this informal family household is looking for someone trustworthy and detail-oriented who can support the smooth running of the property on a long-term basis.
The property is home to a family of five (including three children aged 7, 9, and 11) and a friendly six-month-old Labrador. While no direct childcare is required, the successful candidate should be child-friendly and confident working around young children during term time and holidays.
This private housekeeper role in involves working 3 mornings per week, from 8:00am to 12:00/1:00pm. The successful candidate must be organised, flexible, and comfortable with ad hoc household tasks beyond general housekeeping. These may include errands, accepting grocery deliveries, and supporting occasional events (internal management of the household only)
The ideal candidate will possess great initiative, have previous experience in private residences, and demonstrate the ability to work independently while being part of the wider household dynamic.

Salary: £18 – £20 gross per hour (self-employed preferred)
Pets: 1 friendly Labrador (basic care)
Children: 3 (ages 7, 9, 11) – no direct care required
Driving: Required for an easier commute (automatic car provided for duties if necessary)
Language: Fluent English
Duties Will Include:
- General cleaning and tidying (bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, living spaces)
- Laundry and ironing (products provided)
- Grocery organisation and light errands (e.g., post office trips, parcel drop-offs)
- Light kitchen maintenance and support after dinner parties (not deep cooking)
- Light food prep and snacks for children (optional but welcome)
- Accepting and putting away grocery deliveries
- Occasional pet care (e.g., dog walks, feeding)
- Maintaining children’s rooms and changing bed linen
- Occasional flexibility outside usual hours (agreed in advance)
Candidate Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience in private households
- Excellent checkable references
- Comfortable around children and pets
- Confident driver with clean licence
- Fluent in English
- DBS-checked and eligible to work in the UK
Preferably self-employed
