The family consists of two busy parents and four children aged 6, 8, 16, and 17, creating a lively and dynamic household.

Working as a housekeeper in a private household requires a high level of organisation, efficiency, and attention to detail. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout a four-bedroom home, carrying out deep cleaning tasks, managing laundry care, changing bed linens, and ensuring the home remains tidy and presentable at all times.
This position is well-suited to a pro-active and experienced professional who is comfortable working independently and can anticipate the needs of a busy household without requiring supervision.

Working Days: Five days a week on weekdays
Working Hours: 15 hours a week, three hours a day between 8:00 and 16:00

As this is a live-out position located in a more rural area, it is important to note that the property may be less accessible by public transport. Therefore, holding a valid driving licence and having access to a personal vehicle would be highly advantageous to ensure reliable commuting.
Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the four-bedroom property, including routine and deep cleaning of all rooms.
- Performing thorough cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas with strong attention to detail.
- Managing full laundry care, including washing, drying, folding, and organising garments.
- Carrying out ironing to a high standard, ensuring clothes and linens are well-presented.
- Changing bed linen regularly and ensuring bedrooms remain fresh and tidy.
- Keeping all areas of the home well-organised, including wardrobes, cupboards, and storage spaces.
- Tidying up after the family on a daily basis to maintain a neat and orderly environment.
- Ensuring all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings are well maintained and presented to a high standard.
- Working independently and pro-actively to anticipate the needs of a busy family household.
- Maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times within the family home.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
