This role would particularly suit a Housekeeper with a patient and understanding approach, who is able to provide consistent support and take initiative in a dynamic family setting. This is a live-out, part-time position offering flexibility across one or two working days per week. Working as a Housekeeper in this household involves maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and overall efficiency within a busy family home. Duties include regular cleaning of key living areas, as well as occasional deep cleaning tasks. The role also involves supporting general household organisation, such as cupboard management and ensuring that the home runs in an orderly and efficient manner. Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Maintain cleanliness of the home, including kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
- Perform regular cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Carry out occasional deep cleaning, including oven, curtains, and rugs
- Keep the home tidy and well organised on a daily basis
- Manage and organise cupboards and storage spaces
- Support the efficient running of the household through general organisational tasks
- Work independently while maintaining a proactive and flexible approach
- Assist in maintaining a comfortable and well-presented family environment
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Minimum of 3 years of private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Conversational level of English
- Legal right to work in the UK
