SALARY: £16-19 per hour, depending on experience
Perfect Household Staff is currently seeking a highly skilled and professional Housekeeper for a prestigious family residence in Belgravia, London. The family currently has a Housekeeper, who is preparing to retire, and they are now looking for a new candidate to take on this important role. The family is not in a rush to fill the position, as they place high value on professionalism and ensuring a smooth transition. To facilitate this, the successful candidate will work with the current Housekeeper for the first two weeks to understand the household routines, systems, and expectations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the household, ensuring that all rooms and areas are maintained to the highest standards. The Housekeeper will also play a key role in managing laundry, fine fabrics, and delicate items, while ensuring a smooth running of the household in collaboration with other staff members. The ideal candidate must be organised, discreet, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all areas within the household, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and common spaces.
- Managing laundry, including washing, ironing, and organising clothing, fine fabrics, and delicate items.
- Caring for and cleaning valuable furniture, antiques, and household items to preserve their quality.
- Assisting with the preparation and upkeep of the home for guests, ensuring all areas are presentable and welcoming at all times.
- Supporting the family with any personal laundry and clothing management, ensuring that items are cared for and organised accordingly.
- Managing inventory of household supplies, ensuring that the home is always fully stocked with the necessary items.
- Collaborating with other household staff to ensure smooth daily operations, including coordinating schedules and duties.
- Performing light cooking or food preparation as required, adhering to dietary preferences and specifications.
- Adhering to confidentiality and discretion protocols in a VIP household environment.
Minimal Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ professional Housekeeping experience in UHNW or VIP households
- Strong knowledge of caring for fine fabrics, delicate items, and valuable furnishings
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Discretion, professionalism, and a keen eye for detail
- UK working permit
