The principals are a professional couple with active lifestyles who travel frequently, and they are occasionally joined at weekends by their four adult children. The home is beautifully maintained and situated in one of London’s most desirable residential neighbourhoods, celebrated for its boutique shops, leafy green spaces, and charming village atmosphere. The family also have a friendly golden Labrador retriever, so a pet-friendly nature is essential.
The property is easily accessible via public transport, with Southfields and Wimbledon tube stations nearby, along with several convenient bus routes. For those who drive, on-site parking is available.
As a Housekeeper in this private household, you’ll maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and comfort across a three-floor property. Duties include general housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, laundry, ironing, deep cleaning), managing supplies, and liaising with contractors. The Housekeeper will report to the House Manager and must be comfortable using WhatsApp for communication. Ideal candidates are proactive, physically fit, and able to manage their schedule independently. Experience with delicate surfaces is a plus.

Job Details:

Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Daily general housekeeping duties (dusting, hoovering, mopping, basic laundry, ironing)
- Deep cleaning and organisation of household areas
- Care and cleaning furnishings and surfaces
- Polishing silver and maintaining household items to a high standard
- Pet care for the family’s golden Labrador, including walking and feeding as needed (bonus)
- Managing household supplies and alerting the principals when replenishments are needed
Minimal Requirements:
- Three or more years of private Housekeeper experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
