This role is ideally suited to an experienced and discreet housekeeper who enjoys hands-on housekeeping work and maintaining a property to a consistently pristine standard. The workload across the working days is organised to remain manageable, with the housekeeper typically responsible for maintaining approximately three bedrooms and bathrooms during the week, alongside the kitchen, reception room, and main living areas. The home is arranged across two floors and features wooden furnishings requiring careful attention and proper wood care.

Job Details:

Working Days: 2-3 days per week
Working Hours: 6-8 hours per day (flexible)

Salary: £18 – £25 gross per hour, based on qualifications

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- General housekeeping including thorough cleaning of living areas, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms
- Regular bed changing and management of bedding and towel laundry
- Hoovering and maintaining floors throughout the property
- Dusting and polishing furniture, including careful wood care
- Ensuring bathrooms are maintained and presented to a pristine standard
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen to high hygienic standards
- Maintaining overall organisation and presentation of the home
- Working discreetly and independently to maintain the property to the family’s expectations
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Minimum of 3 years of private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Conversational level of English
- Legal right to work in the UK
- An own car is essential
- DBS check
