Perfect Household Staff is excited to invite applications for a wonderful full time live out housekeeper position with a welcoming family of 2 adults and 4 children. The family resides in a rural and picturesque area of York, North Yorkshire. They are in need of a professional housekeeper who is confident in all aspects of housekeeping, capable of cleaning and caring for the home to a very high standard.

We are searching for a dedicated professional who is organised, warm, efficient, friendly, and happy to be flexible (while proper time off in lieu and holidays will, of course, be included), capable of handling various housekeeping duties with finesse, and is looking for a long-term commitment.
The chosen housekeeper will be expected to ensure that the principals home remains clean and tidy at all times. The family are actively looking for a housekeeper who is pro-active, has common sense and a positive hands-on attitude, adept at organizing.
Duties include vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing/wiping down surfaces, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, making beds, and handling laundry and ironing, driving license would be a great bonus, but not a deal breaker.
The family owns two friendly and well behaved dogs, so we are looking for a candidate who is comfortable with animals and has no allergies.

Main duties of the Full Time Housekeeper:
- General cleaning, dusting and polishing, including bathroom
- Handling laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes
- Maintaining the supply of cleaning materials
- Keeping cupboards, wardrobes and drawers tidy and well ordered
- Vacuuming, mopping sanitising floors and surfaces
- Ensuring a well-organised and clutter-free living space
- Working with high level of integrity and trustworthiness
- Assisting with cooking occasionally
- Running errands
- Vacuuming the house - including rugs, upholstery, carpets, and furniture
- Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
- Dishwasher maintenance
- Pet care
Requirements for this Full Time Housekeeper job:
- 3 years of housekeeper experience
- Checkable references
- UK working permit
