Job Overview:
Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a full-time Housekeeper / All-Rounder position for a warm and organised professional to join a busy family household in Ashlands, Nottingham. The family live in a spacious 5-bedroom detached home, surrounded by a friendly neighbourhood with local amenities, excellent schools, and green spaces nearby.
This role offers the flexibility to be live-in (with a fully equipped 1-bedroom home/apartment provided) or live-out, and is ideal for someone who enjoys both housekeeping and family support, with a varied day-to-day routine.
Working in this role means supporting a friendly, professional family both in the smooth running of their home and in some childcare duties, particularly during school holidays and sick days. The position requires a candidate who is pet-friendly, confident in the kitchen, and capable of managing a range of household responsibilities independently. You will also provide basic animal care for the family’s cats, dogs, and goats, and occasionally assist with housesitting and pet sitting when the family travel.

- School run (15-minute drive) Monday to Friday – essential
- Cleaning, tidying, hoovering, dusting
- Laundry and ironing
- Managing dry cleaning
- Cooking healthy family meals
- Packing travel bags for the principals
- Housesitting and pet sitting during family absences
- Basic care for 3 cats, 2 dogs, and goats (feeding, checking water, general wellbeing)
- Light household organisation and stocking
- Supporting the children during school holidays and sick days
- Three or more years of private housekeeper / all-rounder experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
- Clean driving licence (essential)
- Confident cook
- Comfortable around pets and animals
