In this position, the successful candidate will take responsibility for performing classical housekeeping tasks across various surfaces, including specialised cleaning and maintenance of marble flooring in the kitchen, tiled bathroom floors, and wooden furniture in the living areas. Efficient task management and a keen eye for detail will be essential to maintain a pristine and well-organised environment in line with the family’s preferences.
A valid driving license is required only to get to the property, but you will not need to run errands or do any shopping for the household.

The role also involves light coordination with vendors, such as facilitating access for utility service providers when necessary, to support the smooth operation of the household. This role is ideally suited to someone who can manage their responsibilities independently, exercise sound judgement in task prioritisation, and uphold a consistently high standard of care.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:

• Performing thorough and meticulous cleaning of the house
• Dusting and polishing surfaces throughout the house
• Caring for floors by vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining various floor types
• Cleaning bathrooms to ensure hygiene and cleanliness
• Cleaning the kitchen to uphold high standards of cleanliness
• Cleaning surfaces in living areas, dining spaces, and bedrooms
• Managing laundry and linen care, including washing, ironing, and folding
• Maintaining marble surfaces through specialised cleaning techniques
• Caring for wooden furniture to preserve its appearance and longevity
• Maintaining the patio and entrance to provide a welcoming environment
• Managing waste by disposing of rubbish and recycling appropriately
• Self-managing daily and weekly tasks to maintain efficiency and organisation
• Managing vendor coordination for service providers and maintenance personnel
• Providing additional assistance as required by the family

Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:

• 3 years of housekeeper experience
• Checkable references
• UK working permit
• DBS
