The property is comprised of a stately home featuring two distinct wings—one with two levels and the other all on one level—offering 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 dining room, a modern kitchen, and 6 bathrooms. The interior is adorned with exquisite materials such as silver, crystal, marble, and natural wood, which necessitate a careful and skilled approach to maintenance.

The household consists of two adults and one child (currently away at boarding school). The family is welcoming yet holds high standards for cleanliness and organisation, along with the overall upkeep of their home. This is a live-out position, and an accommodation allowance will be provided, making it ideal for candidates residing nearby or those who are willing to relocate to the Cotswolds.
Frequent family travel allows staff to be notified of vacation periods in advance, enabling effective planning of time off. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with both a Head Housekeeper and another Housekeeper to ensure the household operates smoothly and effectively. Teamwork is essential, and a positive, adaptable attitude is highly valued.
The household maintains a formal atmosphere, and staff members are expected to wear uniforms, which will be provided by the family. The ideal candidate will embody professionalism and courtesy, with prior experience in a UHNW (Ultra High Net Worth) setting. Key qualities for success in this role include excellent time management, strong organisational skills, and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that the household runs efficiently. You should be proactive, capable of independently managing your responsibilities, and respectful of the family's desire for privacy.
A hands-on approach to housekeeping is essential, with proficiency in cleaning, laundry services, and wardrobe organisation being crucial. Experience in serving during formal dinners or events would be advantageous, as you may also assist with hosting duties. Additionally, familiarity with packing and unpacking for travel, as well as handling high-value items and designer clothing, is important.
The position entails a 50-hour work week, typically running from 8 am to 6:30 pm, with flexibility for later hours based on the household's needs. You may occasionally be required to work weekends, particularly during family gatherings or travel. Staff holidays are generally coordinated around the family's travel schedule, allowing for a thorough cleaning before their departure.
This role is offered as a permanent position with a competitive salary in the range of £50,000 to £55,000 gross per annum, depending on the applicant’s experience. An accommodation allowance is available for those living nearby or willing to move to the area.

Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper:
- Performing thorough and meticulous cleaning of all living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and recreational spaces.
- Ensuring all surfaces, floors, carpets, furniture, and decorations are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Utilising appropriate cleaning equipment, tools, and products to achieve the desired level of cleanliness.
- Organising and maintaining all rooms and areas, arranging items and furniture in a tidy and aesthetically pleasing manner.
- Handling laundry duties, including washing, ironing, folding, and storing clothes and linens properly.
- Managing household inventories, restocking supplies as needed, and maintaining a record of household items.
- Safely handling valuable and delicate items, such as antiques, art pieces, and collectibles, using suitable cleaning methods and products.
- Performing specific cleaning tasks as required, such as caring for fine fabrics, silverware, crystal, and other luxury items.
- Assisting in preparing the residence for guests and events, ensuring all spaces are immaculate, well-presented, and adequately stocked.
- Collaborating with other staff members to coordinate the seamless execution of events or gatherings.
- Maintaining a high level of discretion and respect for the privacy of the employer and their family.
- Adhering to security protocols to ensure the safety of the residence and its occupants.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, repairs, or required replacements to the House Director or Head Housekeeper.
- Keeping open lines of communication with other household staff to ensure a coordinated approach to daily operations.
- Remaining flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and last-minute requests.
Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper job:
