Perfect Household Staff Agency is looking for an experienced housekeeper in the Hampton Gay area. This is an upcoming opportunity expected to commence around August, offering an excellent long-term position for a dedicated domestic professional with previous experience working in high-net-worth private households.
The family is looking for a meticulous and proactive Housekeeper who can take full ownership of the daily running and presentation of the home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that every area of the property is maintained to an exceptional standard, with excellent organisation skills and a strong eye for detail.
The ideal candidate will be someone who naturally takes initiative, understands household routines, and is confident managing all aspects of housekeeping independently. The role requires a discreet, reliable and organised professional who enjoys working alongside other members of domestic staff team.
The household includes two young children and possibly a dog. No childcare duties are required; however, the family is looking for a child-friendly individual who is comfortable working in a family environment and around pets.

Salary: £53,820 – £63,000 gross per annum, depending on experience

Main duties of the Housekeeper:
- Complete housekeeping to an exceptional standard throughout the property.
- Take full responsibility for the daily presentation and organisation of the home.
- Reset bedrooms daily, including making beds and ensuring rooms are beautifully presented.
- Manage laundry, ironing and wardrobe care.
- Return clothing and household items to their designated places.
- Maintain excellent organisation throughout the property and ensure everything is kept in order.
- Hoover, mop floors and complete all general cleaning duties.
- Ensure all areas of the property are maintained to a high standard.
- Take initiative to identify tasks required and complete them without supervision.
- Work collaboratively with the weekend Housekeeper to ensure smooth household operations.
- Provide general household support as required.
Requirements for this Housekeeper job:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a private household environment.
- Previous experience working in high-net-worth households.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Discreet, reliable and trustworthy character.
- Comfortable working around children and pets.
- Good spoken English essential.
- Valid driving licence required due to the rural location.
- At least two excellent, checkable references.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
