A family of five, residing in a spacious 7-bedroom house located in Brightwell-Cum-Sotwell, Wallingford, Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced housekeeper to maintain their home to top hotel standards. Brightwell-Cum-Sotwell is a picturesque village located in the South Oxfordshire district, just a short distance from Wallingford. The family has four young children (aged 2 months to 5 years), all cared for by a nanny.
The property is well-maintained, and the family is looking for someone who is dog-friendly, reliable, and organised to support in keeping the house immaculate.
As a housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the home is always in a presentable and pristine condition. You will be responsible for cleaning and tidying all areas of the house, including hoovering, dusting, cleaning the bathrooms, and mopping floors. The role also includes handling laundry, ironing clothes and bedding, and managing delicate fabrics. Additionally, you will manage wardrobes, clean internal windows, polish wooden floors, and keep the immediate areas surrounding the house tidy. You will also be tasked with reporting any maintenance issues and assisting with the door opening for contractors or deliveries.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Cleaning all rooms in the property to a high standard, including hoovering, dusting, mopping, and maintaining a tidy and presentable environment.
- Laundry, ironing, and care of delicate fabrics.
- Wardrobe management and organisation of clothing.
- Internal window cleaning and polishing wooden floors.
- Managing the immediate areas surrounding the house, including keeping paths and garden areas tidy.
- Reporting maintenance issues and liaising with contractors when required.
- Assisting with dog care as needed.
- Ensuring the home is always in a state of top hotel standard cleanliness.
- Care for wooden floors, experience with top hotel standard cleaning.
- No cooking is involved.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
