Our new client, a friendly family is looking for a flexible and reliable housekeeper to join the household on a live out basis. The family consists of a friendly gentleman and his 2 daughters who do not live permanently in the home.

This wonderful full time housekeeper job is located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The property comprises 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 living room, 1 kitchen. When applying for this role, please note that a driving license is required.
The chosen housekeeper will be expected to ensure that the principals home runs smoothly and remains clean and tidy at all times. The family are looking for a housekeeper who has common sense and a positive hands-on attitude, is reliable, flexible and well-organised, with ability to work independently, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Also, the housekeeper must be very dog-friendly as there are two lovely dogs on the property. One of your responsibilities will be letting into the garden, cleaning bowls and feeding the dogs.

The duties in this part time housekeeper job:
• Cleaning all spaces including bathrooms and kitchen areas
• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning windows (internal only) and mirrors
• Hoovering, mopping and polishing floors
• Laundering and ironing clothing, bed linen and towels
• Handwashing delicate items
• Monitoring and maintaining dry cleaning records
• Changing bed linen frequently
• Monthly deep cleaning of washing machine, dishwasher and oven
• Cleaning fridges, checking for outdated fridge items
• Taking delivery of grocery orders and other deliveries when applicable.
• Organising cupboards, freezer
• Wardrobe management
• Taking and collecting items from dry cleaners
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning materials and equipment and organise these to a high standard
• Reporting maintenance issues
• Caring of fine fabrics and furnishings
• Grocery shopping
• Local errands
• Pet friendly with dogs: letting into the garden, cleaning bowls and feeding
