We are looking for a reliable and self-sufficient Housekeeper with strong initiative, who can manage the household’s cleaning schedule, maintain high standards, and take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day upkeep of the home.
The successful candidate will enjoy a variety of housekeeping tasks including deep cleaning, organisation, and preparing the house for visiting guests. Seasonal duties include deep cleaning spare rooms in the winter and preparing outdoor spaces for summer use. The role also involves keeping track of household maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and ensuring cleaning products and basic utilities are stocked.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- General housekeeping: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning to a high standard
- Deep cleaning of unused rooms during winter months
- Tidying and maintaining cleanliness across all areas of the home
- Setting up and maintaining outside spaces in the summer
- Monitoring and replenishing cleaning products and household supplies
- Reporting and managing minor maintenance issues (e.g. replacing light bulbs)
- Ensuring the home remains organised, clean and well-presented at all times
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Good conversational English
