The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and organisation of the residence to the highest standard. While deep cleaning will be handled by other members of staff, the focus of this role will be on daily upkeep, laundry, wardrobe management, and supporting the chef with table service and kitchen-related tasks. Occasional errands and grocery shopping may also be required. The principal does entertain often, so some days will be busier than others.
When they do entertain a significant number of guests, additional help will be hired in the form of a team of cleaners to help the housekeeper. Moreover, the client travels often, therefore the working day becomes a bit less hectic and a bit more relaxed - perfect for doing the deep cleaning and other time-consuming duties.
This opportunity offers an attractive salary package of up to £55,000 per year gross, along with the option for live-in accommodation in a private bedroom.
