A good command of English, honesty, and a non-smoking lifestyle are essential to ensure seamless day-to-day support for the principal.
As a Housekeeper, you will be entrusted with maintaining the home to an immaculate standard. This includes all general housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping, as well as specialist responsibilities like caring for delicate fabrics and antique surfaces. The successful candidate will also assist the principal with light wardrobe organisation and simple valet tasks, executed under her guidance. Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- General housekeeping and deep cleaning
- Laundry and ironing
- Putting clothes away neatly and methodically
- Occasional wardrobe organisation and colour coordination
- Supporting the principal with valet tasks under instruction
- Respectful handling and cleaning of antiques and artworks
- Ensuring the home remains discreet, calm, and welcoming
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Ability to work on a self-employed basis
- Excellent level of English
