The family is seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to provide basic childcare support for two young children aged two and four.
The role primarily involves collecting the children from school at 4:30pm and accompanying them home, remaining with them until approximately 7:00pm when the parents return from work. The position is required two days per week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the potential to include Wednesdays in the future, amounting to approximately six to nine hours per week.
Responsibilities are straightforward and focused on ensuring the children’s safety, comfort, and well-being during the early evening period. Duties include school collection, supervising the children at home, warming up prepared meals or occasionally preparing very simple dishes, assisting with mealtime, maintaining a tidy kitchen area afterwards, and engaging the children in light, age-appropriate activities. This is a gentle and undemanding role suited to a professional who is confident, attentive, and enjoys working with young children in a calm environment.
The ideal candidate will be a careful and confident driver with their own vehicle, as transporting the children from school is an essential part of the role; car seats can be provided by the family. Petrol expenses will be reimbursed in addition. Previous childcare experience, particularly involving young children and school runs, is required, along with strong references and a valid DBS certificate. A trustworthy and reliable nature is essential. Good command of the English language is also required.
This is a live-out, permanent position ideally suited to a professional seeking part-time hours. A self-employed candidate will be considered. The role is expected to commence in early May 2025.

Live Out Nanny duties will include:
- Collecting children from school and ensuring safe transportation home

- Warming up pre-prepared meals and assisting children during dinner time
- Occasionally preparing very simple meals if required
- Engaging children in light, age-appropriate activities
- Maintaining a tidy kitchen and cleaning up after meals
- Ensuring the children’s safety, wellbeing, and comfort at all times
Requirements for this Part-Time Nanny job:
- Proven childcare experience with young children
- Confident and careful driver with own car
- Experience with school runs and child transportation
- Valid DBS certificate
- Strong references
- Good command of English
