Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a professional, experienced, and engaging Full-Time Live-Out Nanny to join a warm and informal private household based in Belsize Park, London. This is a long-term, permanent position ideally suited to a dedicated nanny who is genuinely passionate about child development and thrives in a collaborative, fully staffed household environment.
The household consists of two highly involved parents and their three children: two school-aged children (aged 8 and 5), who will be the primary focus of the role, and a newborn baby (1 month old). The mother is currently on maternity leave and remains very hands-on, particularly with the baby, therefore the role will involve a combination of shared care and occasional sole charge.
During the earlier part of the day, the nanny will support the mother with the newborn, assisting as needed. In the afternoons, responsibilities will shift towards the older children, including school pick-ups, accompanying them to after-school activities, and ensuring a structured and engaging routine. The role requires flexibility, as responsibilities may vary depending on the family’s daily schedule and needs.
The household is fully staffed, including a housekeeper-nanny and a chef, and both parents are actively involved in the children’s upbringing. The father works from home approximately 50% of the time. This is a supportive, team-oriented environment, and the successful candidate must be confident working collaboratively whilst also taking initiative when required.

Working Days: 5 days per week
Working Hours: 50 hours per week (typically 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, with flexibility required)
Language: Fluent English required
Location: Belsize Park, London
Starting Date: 20th April
Driving Licence: Essential (automatic vehicle provided for duties)
Main duties of the Nanny:
- Providing high-quality care for three children, with primary focus on the two older children
- Supporting the mother with the newborn during the day (shared care)
- School pick-ups and drop-offs using the provided automatic vehicle
- Escorting children to after-school activities and playdates
- Creating engaging, educational, and age-appropriate activities
- Encouraging children’s development, independence, and good manners
- Assisting with daily routines including homework support and organisation
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with parents
- Working collaboratively with other household staff (housekeeper-nanny and chef)
- Adapting to a flexible routine depending on the family’s daily needs
- Travelling with the family during some school holidays
Requirements for this Nanny job:
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Fluent English
- Valid UK work permit
- Driving license
