Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a wonderful opportunity for a compassionate, patient, and reliable Nanny to join a warm and welcoming private household based in Maltby, Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The family consists of two adult principals and their 4-year-old daughter, who is a highly functioning child with additional needs. The household is organised, supportive, and focused on providing a stable and nurturing environment. This role would suit a caring and understanding professional who is attentive, physically active, and able to engage a young child through structured routines and age-appropriate activities, both at home and outdoors.
This is a live-out, part-time position set across Monday to Friday with a clearly structured schedule split between morning and afternoon shifts. The role involves both pre- and post-daycare support, including morning routines, drop-offs, afternoon pick-ups, and supervision until the parents return from work. Duties include engaging the child in developmental play, supporting attendance at local clubs and activities, and ensuring her wellbeing at all times.
The family offers a well-equipped home environment, including a dedicated playroom, and the successful candidate will benefit from a smooth handover from the current nanny. The position is offered as formal employment with holiday entitlement. Due to the location and the nature of the role, a driving licence and own car are essential.

Job Details:
- Supporting morning routines and preparing the child for daycare, including supervising and engaging her before drop-off
- Collecting the child from daycare and providing attentive after-school care until parents return
- Planning and carrying out age-appropriate activities, including indoor play and outdoor walks
- Accompanying the child to local clubs and activities as provided by the family
- Ensuring the child’s wellbeing, safety, and emotional comfort at all times
- Preparing simple meals and assisting with feeding routines
- Maintaining a tidy and organised play environment within the home
- Providing consistent, calm, and structured care tailored to a highly functioning child with additional needs
Requirements for this Part-Time Nanny:
- Minimum of 3 years of private nanny experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Fluent level of English
- Legal right to work in the UK
- DBS check
- Own car is essential
