Our new clients, a family of two adults, live in a gorgeous 2-floor house with 10 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms (+3 toilets), kitchen, garden room, breakfast room, formal lounge room, dining room, playroom, study, 2 office and a ground floor. There are also a 12-car garage, stable for horses (there’s a separate staff hired for stables) and 2 French bulldogs in the territory.
The household is pretty much busy – the principals’ children, 3 adults, as well as the guests sometimes come to stay for a weekend.
Apart from classic housekeeping duties, such as cooking, taking care of the house (keeping it fresh and clean), doing the laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, the perfect candidate will also be required to take care of the cars – from managing fees to keep them clean and running. The candidate also has to have a clean driving licence and be fully vaccinated.
There are also part-time Cleaners coming in 3 times a week to do deep cleaning.
If you consider yourself to be an energetic self-motivated person, keen to keep things going without any extra supervision, a dog-lover, you are the candidate that we are looking for.

Working Day: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 37,5 hours per week
Location: West Sussex
Languages: English
Starting Date: ASAP
Due to Brexit we can only accept candidates with a "leave to remain" and/or documentation supporting their stay and permission to work in the UK. Only candidates who have the eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for this role.
Travelling with the family during the school holidays is required. Due to COVID 19, all applicants will already be vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated.
Live In Housekeeper Job Duties:
- Maintaining 12 cars: fees, washing, troubleshooting, fixing the mechanic issues
- Classic housekeeping duties
- Cooking
- Cleaning
- Laundry
- Ironing
- Taking care of the dogs
Live In Housekeeper Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience
- UK work permit
- Vaccination passport
- Clean driving License
- DBS Certificate
